EXPERIENCE THE MS GULF COAST'S MARITIME & SEAFOOD INDUSTRY MUSEUM.
COMING SOON
Come experience Coastal Grace: Light and Life on the Gulf Coast by artist Linda Kimble Fayard.
Linda is a self-taught Mississippi Gulf Coast artist whose creative journey began later in life after receiving a watercolor set from her daughter one year for Christmas. What started as a simple gift quickly became a lifelong passion. A multiple award-winning artist, Linda has twice been voted Best Artist of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and has won multiple awards at coastal galleries across the coast. Her art is deeply inspired by the natural beauty of the region she calls home, with a strong emphasis on the flora and fauna of the Gulf Coast. Linda’s paintings in oil, acrylic and watercolor reflect her deep appreciation for the beauty, serenity, and character of coastal life. Through her work, Linda seeks to capture the quiet charm, color, and spirit of the coastal landscape that continues to influence her creative voice.

New Executive Director Announced

The Board of Directors for the Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum, Biloxi Mississippi, is pleased to announce the hiring of Brandon Boudreaux as the Museum’s next Executive Director. Brandon will be following in the footsteps of Robin Krohn David, who will be retiring in September after 37 years of continuous service.
Brandon leaves behind a career with Swetman Security Services, where he has been an integral part of their team since 2010. He is their current Contract Manager, and previously served as their Operations Manager. Before Swetman Security, Brandon actually began his career at the Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum, in 1990, as a young deckhand on the Museum’s Schooners, eventually working his way up to Senior Captain for all things Schooners, Boats and waterfront infrastructure. During this time, he was instrumental in the recovery, preservation and restoration of all Vessels and Museum content in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, in 2005.
He holds degrees in History and Anthropology, from the University of South Alabama.
His community affiliations include a member of Biloxi Youth Baseball, serving 5 years as President; Biloxi Diamond Club, serving 2 years as President; member of the Charter Boat Captains Association; and a Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum Advisory Board Member. He also holds a 100-Ton U.S. Coast Guard License and is a Certified Homeland Security Specialist.
Brandon is married to his wife of 20 years, Heather Swetman Boudreaux; Dad to Jaxson, John Colton, and Mollie. Brandon's father, the late Edmond Boudreaux, aka Biloxi's Historian, was a longtime friend and major supporter of the Museum.
In Brandon's own words, “I grew up in this Museum and have always dreamed of coming back home.” Let us be the first to say, “Welcome Home, Brandon Boudreaux. Welcome Home!"
