The REVA ROSE, a 76-foot, steel hull vessel was built in 1970 by Tony Jack Covacevich. The boat was the first independently owned steel hull in Biloxi. REVA ROSE was used by various companies and governmental agencies for the testing of new products, equipment and methods of shrimping.
REVA ROSE was also the Blessing Boat in the annual Blessing of the Fleet for many years. The boat has been in continuous use since being build. It was owned by Thomas Schultz from 1970 until 2001, when he retired and sold it to Steve Bosarge who is the current owner.
